1. Work-Only Space – Lower Level
This shared studio is 500 square feet total, and features high ceilings, freshly-painted drywall, and concrete floors. The size makes it ideal for visual artists working in sculpture or installation, or for anyone who requires extensive storage for their artistic practice. Multi-tenant or sharing arrangements are permitted, and musicians with an acoustic practice may be accommodated. The entire studio may be rented by a single renter, or split into two equal portions.
$379.50 / month (50% portion) / $758.99 / month (whole studio)
Utilities and taxes are included in the monthly rent for each studio. Additional amenities include a shared work sink (outside the studio), a freight elevator, a loading dock area, and garbage/recycling facilities.

Announcing a work studio sublet opportunity at Artscape’s Gibraltar Point facility on Toronto Island. If you’re interested in a short term sublet, the studio is available immediately and can be extended until April 30th. If you are interested in taking over the studio permanently as a long term tenant, the possible dates for occupancy can begin as of March 1st or April 1st. The studio with east facing windows is approx 400 sq feet and comes with 2 rooms within the studio. The Gibraltar Point facility is a wonderfully quiet and idyllic environment on the beautiful Toronto Island, and is close to a great sandy beach. As a tenant you would be part of an artist community and have access to shared kitchen and lounge area. Current rent is $542 per month.
