Artscape announced today the appointment of Natasha Mytnowych as the inaugural Managing Director of Artscape Youngplace, effective May 27, 2013. Natasha will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the vision of this vibrant new cultural centre located at Queen Street West and Shaw Street. Once the facility opens in Fall 2013, it will become the largest cultural institution in West Queen West and Artscape’s fourth building in the neighbourhood.

By Karen Whaley It’s hard to believe it’s only been four months since Daniels Spectrum opened its doors as the new cultural hub in Regent Park. People from all over the city have flocked to the building for art exhibitions, film screenings, concerts, dance and poetry festivals, fundraisers, meetings, speaker series, conferences and private events. It seems like there’s always something going on!
